From October 1st to October 11th, we had the pleasure to welcome and host Mrs Monica Altimira Bosch and Mrs Irene Jorge from Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya from the Servei de Suport a la Recerca i la Innovació (Support Service for Research and Innovation).
Our colleagues presented 2 series of 3 seminars.

The first series (01, 02 and 03 October 2024) was dedicated to the personnel of the University of la Réunion involved in European projects. It was designed to help the Réunion equivalent of the Support service for Research and Innovation (which would be DRIVE and DSFE) of the University of la Réunion and to present to them how they work, how they are structured, in order to help the University improve its processes.
The second series (08, 09 October) was dedicated to all researchers of the University interested in submitting a proposal to the European Commission. It aimed at introducing to the researchers the ways the European Commission proposes funds to support science and research.
Lastly on the last day (October 10th), Monica Altimira, Irene Jorge and REALISTIC management team met with the Director of the presidential office, Mr Valère Lee-Ching-Ken and were lucky to count on the support of the DRIVE team.
This visit was held in the framework of Work package 4 “Improvement of Reunion Island R&I capabilities to align with ERA vision and priorities” and a deliverable was produced for this mission.
